There are various forgeries of these stamps, including covers with fake postmarks.

Type F1:

These forgeries were made from a 9 Shahis cliché and other denominations such as 1sh, 2sh, and 5sh were made by coloring and altering the figure 9. Various stages of this type of forgery exist, which showing damages to part of the cliché.
