When studying the so-called Teheran Type-set issues, we encounter a numerous question regarding the originals, fakes, forgeries, and fantasies. The answers are not always clear and mostly we go through a gray area with uncertainty. Therefore we do not have good stamps and bad stamps, as I have noted above, we encounter fakes, forgeries, and fantasies. Fake stamps (Fig.1, 2, 3) are the remainders of the original stamps handstamped with fake handstamps or the reproduction of the real handstamps and in many instances by the use of the original handstamps.

Forgeries (Fig. 4) are the ones that both the stamps and the handstamps are counterfeit. |

Fantasies are the ones that in reality never existed such as the ones with handstamps in different colors than the originals such as the 50kr stamp with blue handstamp in fig.4 or the stamps with completely different handstamps such as the one in fig5. |
