1881 Imperforate Proofs on Thick Paper

These stamps were printed by the Austrian Government Printing Office in Vienna. Only one sheet of 50 of the One Toman (10 Francs) stamp and the Five Shahis stamps were known to exist.

Any multiples of the regularly issued stamps are extremely rare as well as their proofs.

The One Toman stamp is considered as one of the most beautiful and elegant stamps of the Iranian philately.
